"Disney cast members will reportedly start enforcing the end times printed on FastPasses beginning March 1. Traditionally, they haven’t done that; once you have the pass it’s been accepted anytime after the printed start time. That allowed for a lot of flexibility. If they enforce the rules, that means the passes will be accepted starting 5 minutes prior to the printed start time and up to 15 minutes after the printed end time… so if you get delayed, distracted, or whatever and you miss your window then you may well miss out on that attraction completely (since FastPasses often 'sell out' early in the day).
This isn't a big deal to newbies that aren't aware that you don't have to stick with the window, but for those of us who routinely ignore that end time it’s going to force us to be a lot more scheduled!"

Villains Beware! New ‘Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom’ Game Coming Soon to Walt Disney World Resort
When the new "Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom" game debuts at Magic Kingdom on February 22, it will be up to guests to discover and defeat the Disney villains who are wreaking havoc behind the scenes at the Walt Disney World Resort theme park.
In this role-playing game, guests become apprentice sorcerers and embark on a challenge to stop these animated villains from stealing one of the four shattered pieces of Merlin’s powerful crystal ball. Armed with spells in the form of special cards, guests follow magic symbols that lead them to different villain hideouts in Adventureland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, and Main Street, U.S.A. Once there, apprentices use magic keys to access the villain’s lair, and "spell" cards to halt the evildoers in their tracks.
Seventy different spell cards are part of this trading card game, and guests will receive five complimentary cards every day they play. Each of the cards features a different Disney character that offers a spell unique to his or her personality. Individually created by Disney artists and trading card game experts, these beautiful cards will become a new Disney collectible and trading opportunity.
According to Jonathan Ackley, Project Producer & Creative Director, Walt Disney Imagineering, one of the most exciting aspects of Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is how guests become active players in the game, interacting with Disney characters at an entirely new level.
"Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom gives our guests a whole new way to become the hero of the Disney story, taking Disney innovation to a new level," he said. "It’s a great game of discovery and excitement that plays off our wonderful theme park and incredible family of Disney animated characters."
Imagineers spent more than four years creating and perfecting this unique experience, which can be played in 15- to 20-minute segments throughout guests’ visits to the Magic kingdom, or continuously for up to three to four hours. More than 95 minutes of original animation was created for Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom – the equivalent of a full-length animated film.
While trading card games are popular with about 60 million people in the U.S., this is the first time players can experience the challenge at a Disney theme park. Guests of all ages will love the storytelling, the engagement with Disney characters and the discovery of hidden details at the Magic Kingdom.

‘New Orleans Bayou Bash!’ at Disneyland Park - Fact Sheet
It’ll be party time in New Orleans Square at Disneyland park when "New Orleans Bayou Bash!" brings the sights and sounds of a New Orleans-style celebration on weekends, Feb. 10 through March 11, plus Feb. 20 and 21 for the Presidents’ Day holidays. Jazz musicians will perform throughout New Orleans Square, and Princess Tiana and her friends from "The Princess and the Frog" will lead guests in hand-clapping, dancing-in-the-streets fun.
Dates for "New Orleans Bayou Bash!" will be Fridays through Sundays, Feb. 10-12, 24-26, March 2-4 and 9-11, and Friday through Tuesday, Feb. 17-21 (Presidents’ Day weekend). Entertainment is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
New Orleans Square and the adjoining banks of the Rivers of America will be adorned with masks, beads, feathers and colorful celebration banners in bright shades of purple, green and gold.
A stage along the Rivers of America will provide a performance area for a variety of "New Orleans Bayou Bash!" talent, including "Tiana’s Mardi Gras Procession" and the New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band.
In "Tiana’s Mardi Gras Procession," Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, Louis the alligator and a crew of colorfully costumed dancers burst into New Orleans Square in a musical celebration taking place six times a day. They sing lively tunes from "The Princess and the Frog" as they make their way through the streets and down to the Rivers of America stage.
The New Orleans Traditional Jazz Band will appear five times per day in a rousing Mardi Gras procession through New Orleans Square. In traditional "second line" style, an umbrella dancer leads the mash-up of musicians and colorful street performers. Guests are asked to join the procession, which travels through the streets and down to the river stage.
Additional "New Orleans Bayou Bash!" entertainment will include performances by Jambalaya Jazz Band and the bluesy Royal Street Bachelors on the stage at the French Market restaurant in New Orleans Square.
In the Court of Angels Photo Location in New Orleans Square, guests celebrating the New Orleans Bayou Bash can pose for pictures with an ever-changing lineup of beloved Disney characters in Mardi Gras attire: Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Chip and Dale.

Universal Orlando's Newly-Enhanced Blue Man Group Show Opens
Enhanced Show Features New Stage, New Technology, New Music andNew Experiences
Universal Orlando’s Blue Man Group show is taking its unique and captivating brand of live entertainment to another level - complete with a new show environment, new music, new technology and new experiences.
Opening to the public on Friday, February 24, the show will take guests on an incredible journey where they’ll join the Blue Men as they discover, engage and explore the world’s obsession with cutting-edge technology. New sections include Blue Men interacting with "GiPads" (think Gigantic iPads), a funny and perceptive look at contemporary modes of communication; and a pulsating new finale featuring an original Blue Man Group music score that will have guests jumping to their feet.

Universal Orlando's Newly-Enhanced Blue Man Group Show Opens
Enhanced Show Features New Stage, New Technology, New Music andNew Experiences
Universal Orlando’s Blue Man Group show is taking its unique and captivating brand of live entertainment to another level - complete with a new show environment, new music, new technology and new experiences.
Opening to the public on Friday, February 24, the show will take guests on an incredible journey where they’ll join the Blue Men as they discover, engage and explore the world’s obsession with cutting-edge technology. New sections include Blue Men interacting with "GiPads" (think Gigantic iPads), a funny and perceptive look at contemporary modes of communication; and a pulsating new finale featuring an original Blue Man Group music score that will have guests jumping to their feet.
"The heart of our show is, and always has been, the Blue Man, and his inquisitive, wide-eyed take on the world," said Chris Wink, who co-founded Blue Man Group with Phil Stanton and Matt Goldman. "Our team of artists at Blue Man Productions has created fun, even astounding new visual aspects of the show, and our music team has given us a great new sound. We are really excited to incorporate these elements into the show at Universal Orlando Resort "

Several of the signature moments that have made Blue Man Group one of today’s best-loved theatrical productions will remain in the show, although in most cases, they have also been updated. And as always, the production will fuse innovative theatrical spectacle with improvisation and vaudeville-inspired comedy, art, science and irresistible music performed by the Blue Man Group live band.
"Many of our audience’s favorite pieces, including ‘Paint Drumming’ and ‘Gum Balls/Marshmallows’ will continue to be a part of the production – and yes, the first few rows will still need to wear ponchos," added Phil Stanton, Blue Man Group co-founder. "But we have developed some brand new elements of the show that provide a larger-than-life, rousing, interactive experience that I hope will really speak to all cultures and give some of our most devoted fans a new reason to check us out again."
