Hi Everyone!

Disney rarely offers deals to the general public during its busiest seasons: Spring Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's and Easter. If you want to visit Walt Disney World when there is no deal for the general public, you will need to follow the discount strategies that are revealed in our online book, "Secrets To An Affordable Walt Disney World® Vacation," to make your vacation affordable.

A REMINDER: Disney's Smoking Policy: Effective June 1, 2007, Walt Disney World and Disney Vacation Club resorts will become smoke-free environments. No smoking will be allowed in rooms, balconies, patios, lobbies, restaurants, convention areas and common areas. Disney has established outdoor smoking areas for resort guests. Violators will be charged $250 - $500 for deep cleaning and the replacement of bedding and curtains. Any reservations already made through Beth, our travel agent, or other agencies, including Disney itself, that had "smoking" requested will be affected.

Disney Parks Launches First-Of-Its-Kind Programming For Interactive Cable Networks; Introducing Disney Travel on Demand

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts today announced Disney Travel on Demand, a breakthrough in original programming that combines innovation, storytelling and the power of interactive television to deliver a soup-to-nuts vacation planning and entertainment experience to television viewers, starting on two cable systems nationwide. The program mix will include episodic, reality and special event shows as well as concerts and celebrity hosts, all focused on the magic of Disney's destinations around the world.
The programs are designed to uniquely engage viewers with a variety of industry-leading interactive and entertaining components that showcase Disney Parks' innovation, Disney cast members, and the legacy behind all the magic. It will first be made available this month on Cablevision and Time Warner Cable network systems reaching more than nine million viewers.

"More than 50 years after Walt Disney used the new medium of television to tell the story of Disneyland, we're tapping into new media platforms to engage our guests," said Jay Rasulo, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. "With Disney Travel on Demand, we're providing a great entertainment experience for the whole family and an easier way than ever to book a Disney vacation."

The hallmark of Disney Travel on Demand is a groundbreaking level of interactivity with audiences. On Cablevision systems, which will carry Disney Travel on Demand on channel 650, viewers will be able to communicate directly with a Disney travel representative from the comfort of their own homes with the new 'Talk To Agent' feature. With the click of a button on the remote control, viewers can request to have a telephone call back from a Disney travel representative to make all their travel arrangements at one of Disney's destinations: Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disneyland Resort in California, and Adventures by Disney vacations.

Disney Travel on Demand Programs

-- "Making the Magic" - Follow Tristan, a hopeful entertainer, as he tries to fulfill his ultimate dream - to become an elite performer at Walt Disney World Resort. Unfortunately the road to this dream is paved with hurdles, competition, and Disney world-class expectations for unparalleled performances. Will Tristan's desire fuel his ability? Or will the competition be too stiff? Find out as this immersive reality show goes behind-the-scenes showcasing hundreds of performers and weeks of rehearsals all leading up to opening night!

Now, for the first time ever, Walt Disney Imagineers reveal some incredible secrets as they separate Disney fact from fiction.

-- "Dream Makers" - Join celebrity hosts like Joey Fatone and Michelle Kwan, as unsuspecting guests are randomly surprised with some of the most extraordinary and unique experiences Disney has to offer. From spending the night in a brand new royal suite built within Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort, to taking over the one-of-a-kind Mickey Mouse Penthouse Suite in Disneyland, viewers will get a peek at the excitement behind surprises that are uniquely Disney during "The Year of a Million Dreams."

-- "Disney Travel Insiders" - Premiering in June, join The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck as she takes viewers far and wide, offering an array of unique travel tips and tricks for experiencing a Disney Vacation. From money-saving tips for planning an easily affordable family visit to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, zip-lining through a rainforest in Costa Rica with Adventures by Disney, to the best ways to take in the magic of Disney Parks with little ones, Hasselbeck delivers what's new, can't miss, must-see ... and the best ways to experience it all.

Time Warner Cable president of media sales Joan Gillman said, "We are proud to welcome Disney as an anchor destination within Journey TV. Disney recognizes that Video on Demand is a great way to engage their customers in real time using informative, entertaining original content and Journey TV joins a stable of ad-supported on-demand environments that last year alone generated over 13 million views. Our customers have demonstrated a real appreciation for informative programming and Journey TV delivers."

"Cablevision's interactive fiber optic network makes it possible for a wide range of businesses to use VOD programming to reach customers in new and innovative ways," said Barry Frey, Cablevision's senior vice president of advanced platform sales. "Disney Travel on Demand is a perfect example of a preeminent brand using our advanced platform to have a powerful dialogue with consumers through the television." (Press Release, 05/16/07)

SUMMER SIZZLES FOR SEAWORLD AT NIGHT

Orlando, FL (May 2007) SeaWorld Orlando becomes a whole new park after dark this summer with four sizzling nighttime shows and dazzling dining options, offering something for everyone. SeaWorld is the ultimate place to cool down after long summer days boasting an all-new high-energy Shamu Rocks concert, Blue Horizons under the stars, and hilarious happenings as Clyde and Seamore present - Sea Lions Tonight.

SENSATIONAL SHOWS

Opening this Memorial Day Weekend, Shamu Rocks is a rock n’ roll concert of unprecedented proportions combining improvisational movements of killer whales with music remixed with some of the hottest rock stars in the industry including Jennifer Lopez, Savage Garden, Lifehouse and Shakira.

Driven by an urban beat and colossal effects, Shamu and a team of skilled trainers take center stage as killer whale performances transform the arena into joyous frenzy. Pushing the limits of a stadium performance through technical magnitude, animal feats and creative prowess, Shamu Rocks provides guests with a one-of-a-kind experience only SeaWorld could create.

Taking the performance to dynamic magnitude, a 3-story tail fluke flanked by four, 20-foot-wide rotating LED screens dominates the scene and showcases abstract visuals that can be combined to create an 80-foot-long panoramic screen, setting the stage for a colossal multimedia presentation. Nearly 100 speakers throughout the stadium provide an optimal rock n’ roll surround-sound experience.

The sun may have set over the horizon, but the sensational extravagance of Blue Horizons still dazzles in the dark. An all-new theatrical lighting system transforms the show into a glowing scene of a girl’s dream to swim like the dolphins and soar like the birds. Filled with action both above and below the water, a cast of divers and aerialists plunge off the elaborate set with amazing aerial artistry.

Not wanting to be left out of the summer fun, SeaWorld’s popular sea lion comedy duo takes the laughs into the night as they star in Clyde and Seamore Present - Sea Lions Tonight. Hilarious hijinks ensue in this evening show as the park’s talented sea lions, otters and walrus parody other favorite SeaWorld shows.

An evening at SeaWorld culminates with the largest finale in the park's history. Mistify brings to life the majesty of the sea in a way only SeaWorld can, by immersing guests in a vivid underwater adventure that encompasses both sea and sky. SeaWorld’s center lake is stage to the spectacular, featuring larger-than-life marine creatures on 60-foot mist screens, 100-foot fountains, flames on water and dazzling fireworks. From the shores of The Waterfront seaport village, Mistify soars against a backdrop of stars as it conveys the incredible power and beauty of an underwater wonderland as seen through the imagination of a young child.

UNIQUE NIGHTTIME DINING

Guests can stroll along The Waterfront during the evenings to soak in a colorful mosaic of sights, sounds and flavors -- all infused with the fun and festive spirit of the Mediterranean. Bustling with activity, this 5-acre nautical neighborhood immerses guests in a rich tapestry of festive strolling entertainment, dining and shopping.

Diners can journey into the exotic world of the South Seas as the sun sets at The Waterfront’s SeaFire Inn. The nightly Makahiki Luau is a bountiful celebration filled with ancient customs, rhythmic music and dance, authentic costumes and the delectable cuisine of the Pacific Islands.

For those who prefer adventure served with dinner, some of the park’s most popular restaurants allow guests to dine alongside animals. For a true dining adventure, Backstage at Believe allows guests to eat buffet-style alongside killer whales and Shamu trainers, ask questions and observe training sessions in an exclusive backstage setting. Guests also can dine within inches of more than 50 sharks at "Sharks Underwater Grill," an upscale restaurant that immerses guests in an underwater world. The full-service restaurant features a "Floribbean-style" menu that blends Caribbean and Florida fare with an emphasis on seafood. Park admission is required for both "Backstage at Believe" and "Sharks Underwater Grill." (Source: Press Release, 05/03/07)

BUSCH GARDENS BABY BOOM

Guests can now see two new bundles of joy and their moms in the adventure park’s naturalistic animal habitats

TAMPA, Fla. (May 11, 2007) - Just in time for Mother’s Day, Busch Gardens Africa will introduce guests to two new additions: a baby bongo antelope and a new Dromedary camel. Both were introduced to their new habitats with their mothers Friday morning.

Maverick, a male bongo antelope, was born Friday, March 23, to mother Molly. Since Maverick’s birth, mother and baby have been in an area off guest view to allow them time to bond. The pair joins three other bongo antelope on the park’s 65-acre Serengeti Plain.

Busch Gardens’ Serengeti Plain is a naturalistic habitat featuring a diverse population of free-roaming African animals including giraffe, zebra, white rhinoceros, eland antelope and several other species of hoof stock and birds.

Busch Gardens participates in the American Zoo and Aquarium Association’s (AZA) Species Survival Plan (SSP) for bongo antelope. The SSP is a cooperative population management program designed to maintain the genetic diversity of threatened and endangered species.

Roxy, a female Dromedary camel, was born Thursday, April 19. Roxy is the first baby for mother Marian and brings the adventure park’s total number of Dromedary camels to four. The pair reside in the Nairobi area of the park.

Baby camels are born without a hump. Camels store fat in their hump, not water, and this layer of fat will not develop until the baby begins eating solid food.

For more information, contact Busch Gardens Public Relations at (813) 987-5090 or visit www.buschgardens.com (Source: Press Release, 05/11/07)
